After initial trepidation, persuaded by twin Amy’s enthusiasm, we booked our visit to India on to what I was fully assured would be the ultimate ‘twin-venture’ to celebrate our 30th birthdays- what I little realized was the enduring friendship India had in store for us.
Arriving to the hustle and bustle of Delhi was both exciting and overwhelming, after navigating the (in)famous visa queue to our long-waiting taxi-driver we emerged into the vibrant Delhi light. Enter Kush, his warm calming presence, open generous spirit and impish smile instantly soothing any remaining nerves.
Kush opened up his world to us both, sharing in our wonder at the majesty and Splendor of Rajasthan and spiritual essence of Varanasi. He captivated our group with his infectious pride in his country and his people. More than that, the value he placed on nurturing each of us, left Amy and I both feeling ready to take on life’s challenges. Kush has gifted us with a long distant emotional thread from the UK to India that we can’t wait to follow back. He is a friend for life and we both wish him all the best now and in the future .We truly mean it – you are a friend for life.
We went to Rajasthan for 3 weeks, Kush was our tour leader.

We love California Adventure, but it would have been nice if they had longer hours when we were there. Loved all of the Christmas food, Santa visit and the rides as always.
Catalina Island was a perfect day trip. Zip lining with two fun guides was definitely the highlight! Eating at a seaside restaurant was so relaxing afterward.
